The paradigm shift is creating new forms of production and new structures that lead to a process of defining the new educational model. New ways of producing, consuming, living, relating to marketing have appeared, which defines a new playing field and new rules that are also changing traditional educational processes.

In Europe, in the "White Paper of the Digital University" the incorporation of these technologies in the educational dynamics is visualized due to its differentiated dimensions, among which the improvement of the academic calendar, the improvement of terminal learning by a continuous one, the improvement of the books as the main means of information compared to the Internet, the overcoming of the presence in the classroom by one that is carried out everywhere, or the overcoming of bricks by bytes as educational infrastructure and communication space (Laviña 2008).

At the same time that the learning processes are transferred to a non-face-to-face scenario, education without borders is reinforced

In this way, at the same time that the learning processes are transferred to a non-face-to-face scenario, education without borders is reinforced. Digital technologies lay the foundations for the birth of a global education, remote and beyond the national framework, that is, it is aligned with the needs of the global economy of knowledge and training and especially the rapid and permanent updating of the knowledge and competencies.

Due to its strong international presence, the Center for Higher Education in Business has the inalienable mission of looking not only at Spain, but also at America and Europe, offering quality education and promoting the most demanding academic values, respecting dialogue and cooperation. as a substrate for their work and respecting the basic principles of the country where their students come from.

For the Center for Business Higher Education, cross-border education, as a substrate of the globalization of higher education, is an inalienable objective that allows the creation and consolidation of cooperation mechanisms that promote the mobility of students, researchers, teachers and technicians between different countries. and especially the exchange of students with recognition of studies carried out, always based on quality accreditation mechanisms to create opportunities that foster mutual trust on which reciprocity between institutions and programs must be based.

Our objective is based on the following pillars:

  • An educational model that supports virtual learning.
  • Pedagogical models typical of digital education and consistent with individual, independent and self-managed learning.
  • Permanent and quality accompaniment of all our teachers and tutors.
  • An evaluation system that allows the permanent renewal of learning systems.
  • Constant expansion and modernization of the technological infrastructure of our platform, connectivity, software, etc.

The Center for Higher Education for Business, Innovation and Technology does not renounce face-to-face training, whether or not it is mediated by the use of ICT, and especially with regard to permanent training and when it comes to learning very specific skills.
