Tomás Aznar, director of IUNIT Center for Higher Education of Business, Innovation and Technology, and María Luisa Medrano and Raúl Gómez Martínez, professors at the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC), receive the award for the best research in educational innovation for his work “Identifying student motivation and personalizing the educational experience with machine learning”. This research has been presented this week at the XNUMXth Annual Meeting held in Vigo, during which the authors received the award from the European Academy of Management and Business Economics (AEDEM).

In this work and within the GiDesTech research framework, the authors show how machine learning is a useful tool to anticipate student interests, while at the same time allowing to personalize the teaching experience and thus increase student motivation.
