An act of recognition of social leadership.
Last Tuesday, October 7, at an event held in House of America, The SEK International Institution, in his capacity as high patron, awarded the Centennial Medal to Mrs. Lavinia Valbonesi, First Lady of the Republic of Ecuador, for his outstanding work and commitment to social leadership.
The distinction was presented by our President Emeritus, Dr. Jorge Segovia Bonet, as a token of recognition of the dedication of the Mrs. Valbonesi in the promotion of projects and initiatives with social impact.
This recognition also strengthens the link between our Institution and Ecuador, a country in which our SEK Ecuador International University works day by day to form leaders committed to human development, sustainability and social transformation.
It was an honor to have shared this event that celebrates the values that inspire us: education, leadership and commitment to society.
