Continuing Education Diploma in Spanish Language and Culture for Academic Use (“Spanish LCA”):

 

Spanish LCA It is an intensive program taught by IUNIT Centre for Higher Education in Business, Innovation and Technology (Madrid), center attached to the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, aimed at international students who wish to prepare linguistically and academically to access university studies in Spain.

The program Spanish LCA It combines the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language with educational activities aimed at Adaptation to university life in Spain.

The training starts from beginner level (A1) and allows to reach a level B1 or B2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR), a common requirement for admission to Spanish universities.

The course includes:

  • Theoretical and practical language training.
  • Cultural and sociocultural content.
  • Academic and university integration activities.

Students participate in master classes, lectures, visits to university centers, cultural activities in Madrid, and orientation sessions on the workings of the Spanish university system.

 

Objectives

Upon completion of the program, the student will be able to:

  1. Develop oral and written communication skills in Spanish up to the level B1 or B2.
  2. To function independently in social, academic, and administrative contexts.
  3. Certify your level of Spanish through the examination SIELE.
  4. To know the main aspects of Spanish culture.
  5. Get familiar with the University life in Spain: registration, evaluation, tutoring and academic resources.
