The Course is aimed at all people who want to train in one of the most demanded professions today.

A minimum age of 18 years and an LAPL or Class 2 medical certificate are required. The course is taught online with face-to-face practical sessions based on RD 1036/2017 regulations. They are distributed as follows: 54 hours online + 12 face-to-face theoretical hours + 4 face-to-face practical hours in the airfield.

It is taught in its advanced version with our ATO that grants the Pilot License, with practical training to operate MTOW multirotor Drones/RPAs up to 5 Kg in line of sight and MTOW multirotors less than 2kg out of line of sight.

The course is indicated for all those people who want to start in this sector and for all professionals who want to complement their training to incorporate drones into their daily tasks.

In Spain, the current regulations for civil use of Drones/RPAS require that the operating companies have pilots with Official Certification.

Currently, drone technology in our country is applied in sectors as diverse as:

  • Research and development activities.
  • Aerial, phytosanitary and other treatments that involve spreading substances on the ground or in the atmosphere, including launching activities for firefighting products.
  • Photography, filming and aerial surveys (topographic surveys, photogrammetry).
  • Research and instrumental reconnaissance: equipment calibration, meteorological, maritime, geological, oil or archaeological exploration, link and transmissions, transmitters, receiver, radio or television repeater.
  • Aerial observation and surveillance including filming and surveillance activities of forest fires.
  • Aerial advertising through the use of the aircraft.
  • Emergency, search and rescue operations
  • Inspection of power lines.
  • Training and practical training of remote pilots

Motivation letter in which you show interest in the course and, in addition, a personal interview may be carried out

Admission request

Course applicants will send in digital format to the email admission@iunit.edu.es or by mail to the Admissions Department the following documentation:

  • Admission request completed (download it here).
  • Data veracity form completed (download it here).
  • Data Protection Form completed (download it here).
  • Passport or National Identity Document or equivalent.
  • CV (Updated Curriculum Vitae).
  • language certificate in the case of foreign students.

Decision

Upon receipt of the documentation, from IUNIT, we will contact the student to communicate their acceptance and the steps they must take to complete the registration and enrollment.
The admissions department will communicate the acceptance to the interested party within a period not exceeding 5 days.

Registration and registration

Once the admission to the program has been communicated, the student must pay the registration fee according to the chosen option.
Likewise, from the communication of said admission, the candidate will have a period of 7 days to formalize the registration fees and the reservation of the place.
